The four Atlantic provinces have fared much better than other parts of Canada amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with the “Atlantic bubble” putting restrictions on people entering from other parts of the country.

Nova Scotia reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, while New Brunswick reported three new cases, bringing the total number of active cases in the province to 22.

The Atlantic bubble’s pandemic restrictions continue to keep the virus in check, while allowing free movement within the region. Ross Lord explains why there’s little desire for that bubble to be popped.
