B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry on Monday reported 267 new cases that took place over the weekend, with three new deaths also being reported.
From Friday to Saturday there were 68 new cases, 125 reported between Saturday and Sunday, and 74 during the period between Sunday and Monday. Henry said contact-tracing has shown the main source for transmission continues to be through social events.
There are three new health care outbreaks, Henry reported, with each location seeing one staff member with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Dr. Henry, I have a question. Can you explain why you are worried about COVID when more people in B.C. died from suicide in 2018 than have died this year from COVID?
908 — number of people in B.C. who died from influenza and pneumonia in 2018
408 — number of people in B.C. who died from suicide in 2018
233 — number of people in B.C. who died from COVID in 2020 through Sept. 27th
So, plain old influenza and pneumonia killed 3.9 times more people in the province two years ago than COVID has this year, and suicide killed 1.75 times more people two years than has COVID this year.
Given these figures, why are you talking about COVID? It is clearly far less of a threat to the lives of British Columbians than is influenza and pneumonia or suicide.
You did know these figures, didn’t you, Dr. Henry? They are straight from Statistics Canada.

Relatively mild seasonal influenza has been succeeded by COVID-19 that is more virulent. We are now into the 20-21 flu season. _This epidemic is not going to end._ The motive behind restrictive measures employing corona virus as a pretext is to break down and transform society into a new social order, one in which individual freedom is surrendered and the rule of law prevails with each person assuming the role of an enforcer of those around him.

How about what supplements people can look into taking to boost their immune system?? Everything being discussed is just about outbreaks, cases clusters etc. That information isn’t all that helpful, it just makes people more fearful. Tell people what measures they can take to further protect themselves!

Doom yeah , it’s not about that, in the Government Virus Agenda it’s about your rights and there power !

There are a number of independent hospitals recommending supplements as preventatives, they are believed to lessen the severity of symptoms and let you stay out of the hospital for the most part. You’ll have to Google it, make sure you get the info from the hospital boards, not from sites trying to sell you something.

8,908 cases to date… 5.1 mil people in BC. Thousands of BC Businesses closed. Was it worth it?
What about what the constant fear mongering is doing to people mental health?
What about the economic effect(s) of Covid?
Of course people dying is terrible, but the numbers just don’t add up when we look at the measures taken. The societal and economic side affects of Covid will far outweigh the direct impact the virus has had for those affected directly or indirectly.
How bout lets focus less on vapid case counting and actually address the side effects that are likely to affect far more people?
