U.S. President Donald Trump mocked Democratic presidential candidate and former vice-president Joe Biden during a rally in Carson City, Nev., on Sunday, for his calls to listen to science amid the COVID-19 pandemic, suggesting that if he had “listened totally to the scientists” the U.S. would be in a “massive depression.”

Trump then called on states like New York to reopen amid surging coronavirus infection rates.

The president also spoke about his own experience with COVID-19, saying that after taking the drug Regeneron he “felt like Superman.” The drug was given to Trump in an antibiotic cocktail while he was being treated for the disease caused by the novel coronavirus at Walter Reed Medical Center.
