UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is spending the weekend considering how to best tackle a second wave of coronavirus infections.
The Mayor of London has been demanding tougher measures imposed on the capital but businesses have been warning of the terrible economic cost.
The number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK has jumped by 4,422 – the highest daily rise in over four months.
A further 27 deaths of people with the virus have also been recorded, taking the total to 41,759.
